GWCo makes small Lots / bottlings from a series of individual vineyard parcels that are 8 -19 barrels each and include a series of dry-farmed Mediterranean field-blends that include Carignan, Garnacha, MatarĂ³ & Cinsualt grown on pre-phylloxera rootstock with small farmers in the Secano Interior (Maule and Itata Valleys). Each wine is from a different place: Bagual, Caliboro, Sauzal, Truquilemu, Portezuelo – most are 1-2 hectare parcels that are grown with a small farmer partner who works with horse and plough as his family has done since colonial times.
