We grow our vines on the slopes of the Tuniberg in perfect climatic conditions for viticulture on the unique terroir of the Tuniberg, located 15 kilometres south west from the regional capital Freiburg. The Tuniberg consists out of an 145 Million years old limestone and loess sediment from the ancient glacier times. In this warmest corner of Germany for more than 2000 years all famous and classic burgundy varieties have been cultivated by tradition (Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir) All our vineyards are cultivated strictly under environment friendly modern techniques. In this respect we feel ourselves committed to the care of our typical landscape and culture. Our ambitious family Winery is highly awarded and recommended in numerous international wine challenges such as DECANTER, AWC Vienna etc. The fruit driven and harmonious character of our wines matches perfectly to a large selection of fine food and all other special occasions.
